Boy Scouts Safety Merit Badge - TMC

Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital hosts an opportunity for Boy Scout troops or individuals to fulfill the requirements for the Safety Merit Badge.

This program includes an interactive, educational component and tour of the emergency and trauma services of the hospital. Non-refundable Fee: $25.00

Notes: A minimum of 5 boys scout need to be in attendance, in order to hold class.

Merit Badges

For the boys that are interested, there are a number of merit badges that can be taken at the Health Museum, Houston Museum of Natural Science and other locations. Sign up with a friend and you can both get it done.

Sam Houston State University Merit Badge Day will be on Saturday April 25th at the campus in Huntsville. Sign up for a merit badge and get all you can eat lunch!


Bechtel Engineering Day is February 21st. (Free!) Available Merit Badge classes: nuclear science, chemistry, computers, drafting, electricity, and engineering. Sign up soon! (may be some pre-work involved)
